You're like that guy who sees the self destruct button, pushes the button, then goes around saying that you wouldn't have pushed it if it wasn't there in the first place. The console commands do NOT effect your gameplay. They slow time and position themselves and take the shot. Sometimes people spawn stuff in to take epic screenshots too. Sometimes you need to test the power output and power input rates so you can sustain an adequate power level. Sometimes I like to experiment with building stuff and I unlock all the blueprints and use the "nocost" cheat and a few others so I can build and organize stuff and then do the same in the actual game later.
